Kevin Ryan and Billy Garritty provided our second winner of the week with SOUND REASON 🙂

Coincided with our 100th bet for the season and a tad cosily from Richard Fahey’s Desert Games.

A bit of drift out to 8’s from the morning 13/2 for BOG and SP backers 🙂

 

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1202.74 with current full stakes at £15.03 EW with over a 39% win/place rate. 

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +17.05 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

Hard to fancy Rathbone doing it from such a wide draw and will look at another one in thsi.

Looking at those drawn low, Kevin Ryan’s SOUND REASON has dropped to 7 below last seasons Haydock win off 81.

Has been thereabouts this term and others drawn low around him drawn low having to do it again from 6lb higher.

Was a tracker from 2021 when winning a 3yo race from trap 13 on handicap debut.

We then managed a win about him at Haydock in 2022, although seems best suited to stiff tracks like here, Newcastle & Carlisle.

Billy Garritty does the honours and 13/2 and regulation THREE paying slots this morning.
