2.10 Adare Manor Opportunity Maiden Hurdle 2m3f

Timeform Top Rated
130 12. MOMUS Noel Meade A. W. Short
127 6. DEFY DE MEE W. P. Mullins Katie O’Farrell (4)
126 11. HOTEL DU NORD Mrs J. Harrington Conor Orr (4)

Analyst’s Verdict:
It’s worth giving smart Flat winner Face The Facts another chance in this sphere. Momus has been unlucky not to win a race over hurdles so far and should pick up one soon. Myth Buster is also considered.

2.40 toalsbet.com Beginners Chase 2m

Timeform Top Rated
135p 9. STOOSHIE Gordon Elliott Davy Russell
134p 2. CHACUN POUR SOI W. P. Mullins P. Townend
122 6. PORTMORE LOUGH John E. Kiely M. P. Walsh

Analyst’s Verdict:
Chacun Pour Soi shouldn’t want for fitness and starts out in Ireland in a very winnable race after over 2 years off. Stooshie, fairly useful over hurdles, is the obvious danger after a considerate introduction over fences at Thurles last month when looking certain to improve.

3.15 Irish Racing Writers Kingsfurze Novice Hurdle (Listed) 2m

Timeform Top Rated
159 6. HEARTS ARE TRUMPS Desmond McDonogh M. P. Walsh
146p 1. CHOSEN MATE Gordon Elliott Davy Russell
145p 4. MISTER BLUE SKY W. P. Mullins P. Townend

Analyst’s Verdict:
Hearts Are Trumps finished out of the frame for the first time this season at Leopardstown last month, though he wasn’t disgraced and looks the one to beat on these terms. Chosen Mate and Mister Blue Sky head up the opposition.

3.45 Naas Directors Plate Novice Chase (Grade 3) 2½m

Timeform Top Rated
168p 4. KAISER BLACK P. M. J. Doyle J. J. Doyle
161p 3. CAMELIA DE COTTE W. P. Mullins P. Townend
159 1. JETZ Mrs J. Harrington Robbie Power

Analyst’s Verdict:
Kaiser Black came close to causing a shock in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown 5 weeks ago but there was no shock about it and can resume winning ways on these terms. Camelia de Cotte is the obvious threat after her impressive win in a Grade 2 at Thurles.

4.20 Naas Supporters Handicap Hurdle 2m3f

Timeform Top Rated
154 11. WEST COAST TIME Joseph Patrick O’Brien J. J. Slevin
153 17. MOUNT PELIER Alan Fleming Donagh Meyler
152 12. GOLDEN JEWEL Edward Cawley B. Hayes

Analyst’s Verdict:
West Coast Time shaped very well on his belated return at Gowran 3 weeks ago (left with too much to do) and tops the shortlist over Ilikedwayurthinkin and Jimmy Breekie, who have also been catching the eye of late.

4.50 Toalsbet Bookmakers Leinster National Handicap Chase (Grade A) 3m

Timeform Top Rated
171 15. THE CONDITIONAL Martin Hassett C. A. Landers (5)
169 10. WISHMOOR Joseph Patrick O’Brien Rachael Blackmore
168+ 11. DE NAME ESCAPES ME Noel Meade Niall Madden

Analyst’s Verdict:
De Name Escapes Me remains attractively handicapped in this sphere judged on the pick of his hurdling form and is taken to bounce back from a poor run after a break. Dounikos and Wishmoor head up the opposition for Gigginstown.

5.20 Toalsbet Casino Mares (Pro/Am) I.N.H. Flat 2m

Timeform Top Rated
111 3. GYPSY ISLAND Peter Fahey D. J. O’Keeffe (7)
101p 1. COROMANDEL LADY Mrs J. Harrington Mr F. Maguire (3)
100 2. ELK BRIDGE John P. O’Callaghan Mr T. Feeney (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Gypsy Island landed a gamble in a Ballinrobe bumper on debut and she was unlucky not to win switched to hurdles at Navan. She can resume winning ways returned to a bumper back from a break. Coromandel Lady stepped up on debut when winning at Thurles and is a clear next best.
