A sole meeting on Redcar’s billiard table this afternoon with a sole tracker going in (17.15), Phil Makin’s Galloway Hills.
He won earlier this season here when we also noted Ben Haslam’s Epieus in 2nd and had a nice touch with that one subsequently at Newcastle on the AW. He also caught the eye when we backed Zumurud for a place at Hamilton and the ex-David Elsworth charge looks a genuine sort.
Makin goes with a three pronged attack in this one, saddling Prince Ahwanhee and the previously useful, ex-Varian trained Lahore.
