The lightly raced Saaheq proved the one to be on in our featured Race at Doncaster yesterday winning eased up from our selection Sheepscar Lad conceding nearly a stone coming home in 4th at just better than wipes yer face after a R4 deduction. That run at 7f behind Kynren at HQ looked to have put this one into race mode dropped back to the 5f by Michael Appleby and the heavily backed maiden came home in good style.

Back to today and there’s more Donny with some interest and meets at Ffos Las and Hamilton to back that up – Epsom has gone to the now infamous ‘chafer grub’ getting at the turf!

We’ve just one for members from Donny today with supporting Timeform………..BOL with your bets today.

1.50 British Stallion Studs EBF ‘Carrie Red’ Fillies’ Nursery Handicap (2) 6f111y

Timeform Top Rated:
101p 8. LADY COSETTE Jeremy Noseda William Buick
100p 3. WINTER LIGHT Richard Hughes Ryan Moore
99 12. COOKUPASTORM Richard Spencer Martin Dwyer

Analyst’s Verdict:
Lady Cosette‘s trio of efforts in maiden/minor company have contained promise, shaping well behind a more prominently-positioned winner when runner-up at Windsor last month. Her mark appeals as being a feasible one now handicapping and she is fancied to go well equipped with first-time blinkers. Winter Light and Gallovie are similarly progressive and feared most, ahead of Cookupastorm.

2.25 William Hill May Hill Stakes (Group 2) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
114 4. DUTCH TREAT Andrew Balding David Probert
113P 3. DUBAI BEAUTY Saeed bin Suroor Colm O’Donoghue
110p 8. PEACH TREE Aidan O’Brien Ryan Moore

Analyst’s Verdict:
Perhaps not the strongest of Group 2s, though Dubai Beauty did shape like a smart prospect when winning first-time up at Newmarket and can provide Saeed bin Suroor with a third win in this. Sand Share is another who impressed to make a winning debut and may emerge as the biggest threat ahead of Dutch Treat and Accordance.

3.00 DFS Park Hill Stakes (Group 2) (1) 1¾m115y

Timeform Top Rated:
120 1. HORSEPLAY Andrew Balding Oisin Murphy
119p 4. PILASTER Roger Varian Andrea Atzeni
119 2. GOD GIVEN Luca Cumani Jamie Spencer

Analyst’s Verdict:
A tight renewal of the fillies’ St Leger. Horseplay seems sure to relish 1¾m and is taken to confirm Lancashire Oaks placings with God Given. Pilaster has a 3 lb penalty courtesy of her Lillie Langtry win at Glorious Goodwood but there’s a good chance she has more to offer and she’s another who is expected to be bang there.

3.35 Weatherbys Racing Bank £300,000 2-Y-O Stakes (2) 6f111y

Timeform Top Rated:
122 22. AIM POWER Richard Hannon David Egan
116 18. KINKS Mick Channon Andrea Atzeni
116 6. THE IRISH ROVER Aidan O’Brien Ryan Moore

Analyst’s Verdict:
Aim Power has a cracking chance on these terms and can give her yard (that runs run 6) yet another win in one of these very valuable sales races. A long list of dangers is headed by The Irish Rover, No Needs Never and Louis Treize.

4.05 Silk Series Lady Riders’ Handicap (Pro-Am Lady Riders’) (3) 6f2y

Timeform Top Rated:
97 1. EASTERN IMPACT Richard Fahey Megan Nicholls (5)
94 12. KENNY THE CAPTAIN Tim Easterby Miss Emily Easterby (7)
93 13. BIG LACHIE Daniel Loughnane Jessica Cooley (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
C&D winner Kenny The Captain bounced back to form when third at Thirsk on Saturday and gets the vote in this wide-open handicap. Tukhoom ran a very encouraging race after 13 months off here recently and is a big player if building on that now having his first crack at sprinting. Big Lachie, Related and Eastern Impact also make the shortlist.

4.40 Mechanical Facilities Handicap (2) 1¼m43y

Timeform Top Rated:
120 9. FINNISTON FARM Tom Dascombe David Probert
118 4. KYLLACHY GALA Marco Botti Ryan Moore
118 8. AQUARIUM Mark Johnston Franny Norton

Analyst’s Verdict:
Finniston Farm looks ready for the step up to this trip given the way he shaped at York last time and might be worth chancing having been dropped a further 2 lb by the handicapper. Banditry has plenty of solid efforts to his name in competitive handicaps and is likely to be on the premises again, while Plutonian arrives on the back of an excellent run at Goodwood.

5.10 DFS Handicap (2) 7f6y

Timeform Top Rated:
118 3. MAVERICK OFFICER David Simcock Jamie Spencer
117 6. HIGHLIGHT REEL Michael Bell David Probert
116p 5. WHINMOOR Nigel Tinkler Lewis Edmunds

Analyst’s Verdict:
Competitive stuff but Maverick Officer had plenty in hand at Yarmouth last month and is only 3 lb higher here. Mystic Flight ran a cracker when third in a hot handicap at York 3 weeks ago and is next best ahead of the thriving Whinmoor.
