There’s a poor looking card at Sedgefield with only the opening novices (14.00) over 10 runners and a real low grade affair. Don McCain likes a winner up here and Whiteoak Stroller is one of his three declared charges at the track. It’s similar fodder at Ludlow and only Chepstow has any races of substance with over 8 runners.

We have one going from there in the members area.

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge it’s currently a 32% win/place strike rate…..our bank is now £495.71 and stakes are now £6.20 EW

2.20 Faucets Deliver Rada From Stock Next Day Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m11y

Timeform Top Rated:
113§ 13. FLANAGANS FIELD Bernard Llewellyn Charlie Price (7)
110+ 8. BIG CHIP AND PIN Christian Williams James Bowen
109 10. BOUTAN Grace Harris Jonjo O’Neill Jr. (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
A decidedly trappy opener with a chance taken on Big Chip And Pin. He didn’t shape too badly on return from a lengthy absence at Sedgefield last month and he can be expected to strip fitter with that under his belt. Stephanie Sunshine, Rollercoster and Dragon Khan head up the dangers.

2.50 Faucets Introducing Intelligent Care From Rada Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 2m11y

Timeform Top Rated:
124 3. FAIR KATE Tom Lacey Richard Johnson
111p 2. EPISODE Gary Moore Joshua Moore
108 7. LEAVE MY ALONE Richenda Ford David Noonan

Analyst’s Verdict:
It is a concern Deadringerforlove failed to kick on in bumpers, but she could flourish now jumping and her debut fourth to the smart Silver Forever at this venue certainly reads well. Useful Flat recruit Free is an obvious threat, with Fair Kate and Episode also fancied to feature.

3.25 Faucets & Rada Are The Washroom Specialists Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2m7f131y

Timeform Top Rated:
143 5. KINGSPLACE Nigel Twiston-Davies Sam Twiston-Davies
133p 1. DEISE ABA Philip Hobbs Richard Johnson
127p 6. NEW AGE DAWNING David Pipe Tom Scudamore

Analyst’s Verdict:
Deise Aba disappointed back from a break at Ascot last month, but such was the impression he created on his debut that he has to be worth another chance. Kingsplace will be suited by 3m and looks the main threat ahead of New Age Dawning and Densfirth.

4.00 Faucets And Rada The Professionals Choice Handicap Chase (4) 2m7f131y

Timeform Top Rated:
130 9. THE LION DANCER Charlie Mann Harry Bannister
128 4. SANDHURST LAD Warren Greatrex Richard Johnson
128§ 7. NEWTOWN LAD Michael Scudamore Brendan Powell

Analyst’s Verdict:
The Lion Dancer went from strength to strength last spring, winning his last 3 starts, and can defy an 11-month absence with his yard in good form. Sandhurst Lad has taken well to fences this season, beating a subsequent winner at Wincanton last month, and is the obvious threat. Newtown Lad is potentially well treated if bouncing back to form.

4.35 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m3f100y

Timeform Top Rated:
115 1. TREASURE DILLON Evan Williams Mitchell Bastyan (5)
113 14. CELER ET AUDAX John O’Shea Ben Poste
112 12. BRIGADIER BOB Kerry Lee Richard Patrick (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Not many with convincing profiles and Treasure Dillon is chanced in the hope he can build on last week’s second at Sedgefield under Mitchell Bastyan. Helford River and Hawkerland are potential improvers now handicapping, while Great Fairy isn’t without a chance on an earlier run here this season.

5.05 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Mares’ Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 2m11y

Timeform Top Rated:
113 1. SUBWAY SURF Kim Bailey Mikey Hamill (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Subway Surf just about surpassed her winning bumper form when third in a strong race under a penalty at Ascot last month and she is selected to successfully concede weight all round. Miss Jeanne Moon could be the pick of the Mulholland trio, while Streets of Fire represents a predominantly Flat yard but she was an easy winner between the flags last time.

5.40 Faucets Delivering New Rada Products In 2019 Open Hunters’ Chase (6) 2m7f131y

Timeform Top Rated:
130 5. SAUSALITO SUNRISE Olly Murphy Mr Alex Ferguson (3)
129§ 1. KELVINGROVE A. B. Leyshon Mr Ben Jones (7)
128? 2. DOUBLE ROSS Nigel Twiston-Davies Mr Zac Baker

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sausalito Sunrise‘s well-being is an unknown given his 2-year absence, but he’s joined another successful yard having left Philip Hobbs (has also had a wind operation), and assuming he retains a chunk of his old ability, he should see this bunch off. Double Ross is on the downgrade but is at least back over a more suitable trip.
