1.50 Will You Marry Me Sean Tinkler Novices’ Hurdle (4) 1m7f169y

Timeform Top Rated
135 1. SNAPDRAGON FIRE Tom Lacey Richard Johnson
117 12. SALLY CAN’T WAIT Henry Oliver Jeremiah McGrath
116p 10. COOLING John Flint Jamie Moore

Analyst’s Verdict:
Snapdragon Fire has already enjoyed a productive season in handicaps and has been found a good opening back in a novice lacking strength in depth. Buck’s Bin’s failed to justify strong support in a course bumper last month but is surely capable of better, while Statuario possesses the Flat form to be a factor.

2.25 Wye Valley Brewery Chase (Novices’ Limited Handicap) (3) 2½m11y

Timeform Top Rated
147 1. KUPATANA Paul Nicholls Harry Cobden
145 3. CAVE TOP Oliver Greenall William Kennedy
144 2. KAYF BLANCO Graeme McPherson Tom Humphries (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Kupatana seemed to have lost her confidence over fences but a change of stable may revitalise and she remains with potential. Cave Top had no chance with the winner at Newcastle 5 days ago but he was a clear second best that day so is feared most off the same mark.

3.00 Wye Valley Brewery ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (3) 2m5f55y

Timeform Top Rated
132 1. EARLOFTHECOTSWOLDS Nigel Twiston-Davies Sam Twiston-Davies
131 2. RHYTHM IS A DANCER Paul Nicholls Harry Cobden
130 5. THREE BULLET GATE Robin Dickin Charlie Poste

Analyst’s Verdict:
Earlofthecotswolds is getting his act together over hurdles now and looks capable of going in again. Three Bullet Gate isn’t one to give up on, especially now moving back up in trip, with Mon Port not out things if building on his latest third at Leicester.

3.35 Forbra Gold Cup Handicap Chase (3) 2m7f171y

Timeform Top Rated
151§ 5. UHLAN BUTE Venetia Williams Charlie Deutsch
150? 6. DREAM BOLT David Rees Sean Bowen
149 4. CALIPSO COLLONGES Olly Murphy Richard Johnson

Analyst’s Verdict:
Calipso Collonges already bettered his hurdles form when winning on his second chase start at Uttoxeter 8 weeks ago and is preferred to the in-form but exposed Uhlan Bute. Tommy Silver has been showing more positive signs of late and is another to consider.

Timeform Top Rated
132 7. CARROLLS MILAN Fergal O’Brien Connor Brace (7)
131+ 4. OH MICHELLE Nigel Twiston-Davies Sam Twiston-Davies
130 3. IT’S O KAY Olly Murphy Richard Johnson

Analyst’s Verdict:
Oh Michelle remains with plenty of potential for staying handicaps like this and she’s taken to get off the mark on her first run for 10 months. She Mite Bite is another who should come into her own now granted a sterner test and she looks a big danger. Carrolls Milan could reverse Wetherby form with Midnight Glory.

4.45 Ludlow Skip Hire Open Hunters’ Chase (5) 2m7f171y

Timeform Top Rated
137 4. RIDGEWAY FLYER Paul Nicholls Mr Bryan Carver (7)
126 8. QUEEN OLIVIA Miss V. Collins Miss Lilly Pinchin (5)
125 1. ARTHUR’S SECRET Martin Weston Miss Abigail Banks (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Arthur’s Secret produced a commanding performance in a point 12 days ago and has linked up well with this jockey in the past, so expect him to prove hard to pass once he’s out in front jumping accurately. Ridgeway Flyer has the edge on the selection in terms of Rules form, but has more to prove, so it might be that the in-form Queen Olivia gives him most to think about.

5.15 Watch Racing TV Now Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 1m7f169y

Timeform Top Rated
126 5. KINGS INN Paul Nicholls Lorcan Williams (3)
125 4. LE LIGERIEN Philip Hobbs Sean Houlihan (3)
124p 2. GRAND INQUISITOR Ian Williams Edward Austin (6)

Analyst’s Verdict:
This looks wide open, so it may pay to take a chance on Kings Inn. He shaped well on his handicap debut on his penultimate start and is fancied to step up on his latest Fakenham effort provided he settles better. Le Ligerien and Grand Inquisitor are others to consider.
