A last a bit more of interest today with meets at Warwick, Taunton and Ayr. Timeform for the latter is below – we have two going for our members for our first bets this week.

Another in our tracker going at just less than our tissue price is Remember Forever at Warwick in the (15.40) – we’ll see how that one goes and look to get a better price on a future run.

Yesterday saw Theflyingportrait win from the intro notes at a short price and today possibly Bonza Girl in the Taunton (15.45) fits that bill with around 9/4.

12.10 Caledonia Best Maiden Hurdle (5) (D.I) 2m

Analyst’s Verdict:
This is unlikely to take much winning and market confidence for point-winner Buster Valentine would look significant. Ride The Lightning showed plenty on the Flat and is one to note on return from a long absence.

12.45 Caledonia Best Maiden Hurdle (5) (D.II) 2m

Analyst’s Verdict:
Dali Mail showed plenty in bumpers before finding a Grade 2 too competitive at Aintree in April and rates a big player on hurdles bow. Peters Cousin and Not The Chablis are others to consider.

1.20 Tennent’s Lager Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m5f91y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sunny Destination made a promising handicap debut when second here 15 days ago and looks capable of winning from this sort of mark. Niceandeasy is still only a 5-y-o so should have more to offer, while the in-form Mighty Thunder also needs respecting.

1.55 Loch Katrine Handicap Chase (4) 3m20y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Beau Sancy is much improved since joining this yard, winning all 3 starts, and the 4-timer looks on the cards. Geronimo is feared most after a promising chase debut at Hexham.

2.25 Oliver McCann A Mighty Sporting Man Novices’ Chase (4) 2m5f110y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Uppertown Prince won over hurdles here in March before an excellent fourth in the Sefton at Aintree. He rates a fine staying novice chase prospect and could make a winning start in this sphere at the expense of the race-fit pair No Hassle Hoff and Kalahari Queen.

3.00 Wellpark Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m3f110y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Choochoobugaloo shaped well when second on her recent first run for Sam England. There’s always a danger a second outing in quick succession could find her out but the manner in which she travelled suggests she’s on a good mark and she’s worth a chance to confirm that promise. Bingo d’Olivate is well treated and merits respect on first run for James Ewart. Pump Road completes the shortlist.

3.30 Magners Original Novices’ Hurdle (4) 3m70y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Vinnie Lewis has the prospect of an uncontested lead and can follow up his Southwell win. Bodacious Name could emerge as the biggest threat ahead of Caerleon Kate. 135 1. VINNIE LEWIS Harry Whittington Harry Bannister
