Without a selection yesterday we’re straight into today with Brighton, Haydock, Yarmouth & Sandown on the evening. There’s a little meet over the water at Leopardstown this evening and there’s Timeform for that one below.

At Sandown, Mark Johnston takes one of his 3 year olds town for a tilt in the (20.15)….Illusional is up against the strong looking Stoute favourite, Whitehall with Ryan Moore up top. However this one put a good shift in at Newmarket before being undone at the start at Chester LTO. There’s some expectation from Illusional with many of his line being rated 100+. In all probability needs a bit more cut than this though he holds solid EW claims at wipes yer face prices under SDS in this.

Yesterday we had no official selections but from the intro notes disposed of 50p EW on Billy Roberts at Ponty, however his run wasn’t a forlorn one and we will be noting him where he goes now that Richard Guest is getting his charges back out following a yard bug through some dodgy feed.

Woody Creek made an eye-catching debut at the Curragh and needs taking seriously. Burmese Waltz also made a promising start in the same maiden, while National Guard sets the standard and may benefit from headgear.

T For Tango shaped encouragingly when sixth in a big field on debut for this yard at the Curragh on Monday and is of interest off the same mark. Betsey Trotter was a good second on handicap debut here and is feared most.

Analyst’s Verdict:
National Wealth brings some fairly useful form to the table and will likely take a bit of stopping unless the Dermot Weld newcomer Centroid turns out to be above average.

Analyst’s Verdict:
Pedisnap is enjoying a productive first campaign with Joseph O’Brien and might be capable of notching another win with Shane Crosse taking a handy 7 lb off. Wavepoint was a ready winner on AW at Wolverhampton recently and will be a major threat if he can reproduce that form back on turf, while the selection’s stablemate Perfect Tapatino is a probable improver now handicapping for the first time.

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sirjack Thomas produced a useful effort when striking at the second time of asking for his current stable at Sligo in June and is taken to go in again but a case can be made for all of the others in a tight heat, with Mr Ormsby and Ice Cold In Alex perhaps the pair to give him most to do.

Analyst’s Verdict: 
Little between the quartet, and though Eziyra lacks a run, she represents a top yard and the level she achieved when landing a brace of Group 3 contests to end 2017 marks her out as the one to beat on these terms. Yucatan and Stellar Mass will certianly give her plenty to think about, though.

Analyst’s Verdict: 
Small Bit of Love responded well to a tongue strap when off the mark at Ballinrobe last time and can follow up. Persian Lion is the potential improver on handicap bow and is feared most ahead of Tarazani, who made a winning return to this sphere here 4 weeks ago.
