ROTHERWICK won at Windsor last night (advised 10’s).…..with Crosse Fire backing that up with a 9/1 advised place in the final race at Ponty to bring some nice late evening profits from our three members selections yesterday …

Just a bit of housekeeping – we have picked up that incoming emails to feedback@always-back-winners.com are not functioning…….so any recent abuse 🙂 has gone unread! We’re working to resolve at the moment – we did change web hosts the other week and it seems to have coincided with that. If you need to get in touch at the moment, please use the comments section at the end of each blog and we will pick up from there….keep it clean until we resolve the issue and will let you know when we are back on email!

Email notifications of selections going out are unaffected – though we did have a couple of days where you received them late that also seemed to coincide with the switch of hosts – that seems all in order now and when we publish around 8am you should have received the email within 30 minutes or so.

On to today’s racing….

Despite liking a punt at Thirsk there’s only really the 15.45 on our radar….LTO we backed Melonade who seemed to be undone by the soft going and should run better today, though Straigtothepoint looks a better proposition from a higher draw under Graham Lee. The 17.45  though never really pushing 3yo’s at this time, the booking of SDS on Karl Burke’s Stay In The Light looks a bonus albeit likely to be on around 3’s. She’s ran well the last couple of times and with a reported bug in the yard now clear, we expect him to start making up lost time – he’s had 4 winners in the last 5 days or so.

At Salisbury, we backed EJ-H’s Miss Inga Sock LTO and she needed the headlights on coming home plum last at Chepstow 10 days ago. They step her up to 12f and anyone backing our LTO selections ‘3 and out or stop at a winner’, it’s a big priced 16/1 that we aren’t taking on.

2.15 Racing To School Novice Auction Stakes (5) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
94p 6. I BELIEVE IN YOU Iain Jardine Nathan Evans
84p 4. AHLAN BIL EMARATI Kevin Ryan Tom Queally
65 2. SMOKI SMOKA Tom Dascombe Richard Kingscote

Analyst’s Verdict:
I Believe In You is a speedily-bred colt who produced a promising first effort when third at Redcar 2 weeks ago, doing best of those held up. He appeals as the type to do better with that under his belt and gets the narrow vote to come out on top. Ahlan Bil Emarati won’t be long in breaking his duck judged on his exploits to date and he is feared, ahead of debutant Call Him Al.

Timeform Top Rated:
85 2. MAC O’POLO Tom Dascombe Richard Kingscote
84 15. RAVENSWOOD Kenneth Slack Paul Hanagan
84 8. KING’S COINAGE Ruth Carr James Sullivan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Whilst the draw in 13 is a slight concern, Mac O’Polo has often shaped as though worth a try at this trip and, having shaped well when runner-up at Haydock last month, he is fancied to make a bold bid. Ravenswood and Kings Gold are obvious threats on recent evidence though, whilst King’s Coinage can go well at likely longer odds.

3.15 100% Racing UK Profits Back To Racing Handicap (5) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
94 3. BUCCANEERS VAULT Paul Midgley Paul Mulrennan
93 11. SOCIALITES RED Scott Dixon Gabriele Malune (5)
92 12. CASE KEY Michael Appleby Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst’s Verdict:
Buccaneers Vault hinted at a revival when seventh in a big field York handicap recently and, with the drop back to 6f likely to be in his favour, he gets the narrow vote. Straightothepoint, Socialites Red and Case Key are just a trio of others to consider in a wide-open affair.

Timeform Top Rated:
88 9. REBEL STATE Jedd O’Keeffe Jack Garritty
86 14. SIR LANCELOTT Adrian Nicholls Andrew Mullen
85 10. CELTIC ARTISAN Rebecca Menzies Cam Hardie

Analyst’s Verdict:
Rebel State arrives in good form, scoring at Ayr prior to going close back at that venue 8 days ago. He can continue the good work, with Fleetfoot Jack and Pepys next best in that order.

Timeform Top Rated:
93p 2. MUTAFANI Simon Crisford Silvestre De Sousa
79 3. ZARJAZ Kevin Ryan Tom Queally
70 8. TIGERSHARK Bryan Smart Graham Lee

Analyst’s Verdict:
Mutafani won with plenty in hand under a positive ride at Chelmsford last month and holds strong claims of following up here. Southwell=scorer Zarjaz looks the principal danger with Tigershark next best.

Timeform Top Rated:
83 4. CUPPACOCO Ann Duffield Jack Garritty
80 9. ERASTUS Ruth Carr James Sullivan
79 6. GHOST John Quinn Jason Hart

Analyst’s Verdict:
Ghost left her disappointing Wolverhampton effort well behind when runner-up in a stronger contest at Redcar a fortnight ago and could be the answer to a tricky-looking contest. Erastus and Cuppacoco are others to consider.

Timeform Top Rated:
80 2. MUTABAAHY Antony Brittain Cam Hardie
79 3. CHERRY OAK Ben Haslam Paul Mulrennan
79 5. REVENGE Tim Easterby David Allan

Analyst’s Verdict:
This can go to Mutabaahy, who finished second from an unpromising position at Ripon last time and remains on a workable mark. Revenge and French Silk are other key players.

5.45 Watch Royal Ascot Here @Thirskraces Tuesday 19th June Fillies’ Handicap (5) 1½m8y

Timeform Top Rated:
78+ 9. STAY IN THE LIGHT K. R. Burke Silvestre De Sousa
77 1. CALLIOPE Kenneth Slack James Sullivan
76 10. BLUE HAVANA John Quinn Andrew Mullen

Analyst’s Verdict:
Stay In The Light could have more to offer yet and wasn’t seen to best effect when a staying-on fourth at Lingfield last time. She is fancied to open her account. Calliope and Blue Havana rate the principal dangers.

WOWSER!!!!!

The guys from Cleeve have really hit the ground running in May with OVER 67PTS PROFIT as we take a step forward and one back !!!!

Like we said previous…….they target higher end c2+ than ourselves and have got off to a cracking start to the season. Have a look around their site linked below with a past results visible.

Our selections shouldn’t clash due to the nature of races we tend to get involved with and should be a nice complimentary and personal service from Nick & the guys to run alongside our own this summer.
