Tuesday Newsletter – 16th April 2019
First day of Newmarket’s Craven Meeting and a watching brief for us, we’ll take note of the C2 (13:50) Weatherbys TBA Handicap 6f and take note of anything that may be dropping to our grades following this run.
Just noting the sprints at HQ through April, in the last 2 years nothing drawn above 8 has won any sprint up to 6f. Filtering that further when considering front running types from 1-4 gives 16 races/6 winners/7 places for an ROI of over 75% and may be something to look at today – just taking a quick look at the race above, Richard Hannon’s BURIDAN stands out fitting those stats and on around 7’s.
We’ll be back with a look at Beverley tomorrow.
For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….it’s an early season 55% win/place strike rate …..our bank is now £1012.25 and current stakes are now £12.65 EW
