1.55 Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
118 3. LOSTOCK HALL Tristan Davidson Harry Reed
111 1. BONNE QUESTION Venetia Williams Hugh Nugent (6)
110? 9. HURRICANE RITA Conor Dore Daniel Sansom

Analyst’s Verdict:
Lostock Hall shaped a bit better than the result last time and looks interesting now returning to less testing ground having eased further in the weights. Of the rest, Dew Pond should remain competitive, while the lightly-raced Bonne Question needs a market check back from 8 months off for a yard going well at present.

2.25 EBF/TBA Mares’ Novices’ Chase (Qualifier) (4) 2m5f75y

Timeform Top Rated:
151 2. GRACEFUL LEGEND Ben Case Max Kendrick (5)
149p 1. LITTLE MISS POET Philip Hobbs Richard Johnson
148 3. KALAHARI QUEEN Jamie Snowden Gavin Sheehan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Little Miss Poet showed improved form to make her second chase start a winning one at Ludlow last month, just needing to be kept up to her work to clear away in a similarly small-field affair. Open to improvement, she can concede weight all round here and follow up. Kalahari Queen can pose the bigger threat of the pair in opposition.

2.55 Every Race Live On Racing TV Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2m3f154y

Timeform Top Rated:
148 1. COOLANLY Fergal O’Brien Paddy Brennan
130 10. SCHIEHALLION MUNRO Micky Hammond Billy Garritty (7)
128 4. ARTICLE FIFTY Warren Greatrex Richard Johnson

Analyst’s Verdict:
This represents a drop in class for Grade 2 winner Coolanly who should be very hard to beat. Charlie Longsdon does pretty well with his runners here so it would be no surprise if Irish point winner Peter’s Portrait filled the forecast spot. Theatre Legend, Article Fifty and Schiehallion Munro are others likely to be involved in the battle for minor honours.

3.30 wetherbyracing.co.uk Handicap Chase (3) 1m7f36y

Timeform Top Rated:
152 7. SOLAR IMPULSE Ian Williams Dave Crosse
150 10. VENDOR Sue Smith Sean Quinlan
148p 9. GENEROUS DAY Henry Oliver James Davies

Analyst’s Verdict:
Generous Day had a couple of these rivals behind when opening his account over fences at Warwick last month and could well have more to offer in this sphere yet. He makes plenty of appeal. Movie Legend and Yorkist rate the principal dangers.

Timeform Top Rated:
114 2. DEBROUILLARD Oliver Greenall Danny McMenamin (7)
113 12. MAGIC DRAGON Philip Kirby Sean Quinlan
112 14. SNOWED IN Barbara Butterworth Thomas Dowson (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Gallows Point certainly has ability based on his debut effort in a bumper so, although he’s been down the field over hurdles so far, it’s worth taking a chance that he’ll prove a different proposition starting out off a mark of 95 with headgear applied. Fellow handicap debutant Debrouillard also makes appeal, as does last-time-out winner Magic Dragon.

4.35 Join Racing TV Now Handicap Chase (Qualifier) (4) 3m45y

Timeform Top Rated:
128 1. STRONG RESEMBLANCE Oliver Greenall William Kennedy
127 2. OVERWORKDUNDERPAID Charlie Longsdon Jonathan Burke
126 5. CREST Micky Hammond Alain Cawley

Analyst’s Verdict:
Strong Resemblance is on a roll and there is no reason to think his good run of form will stop now back over fences. He can land a fifth win from his last 6 starts. Minella For Me and Lough Salt are feared most.

5.05 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Mares’ Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
115 7. ZOUTOISE Tom George Ciaran Gethings
110 3. FRAU GEORGIA Neil Mulholland Brian Hughes
108 10. PUPPETONASTRING Tim Easterby Mr William Easterby (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
A few with chances in what looks a decent mares’ event but it’s still hard to ignore the claims of Zoutoise, who looked useful when winning on her 1½m debut here last month and is bred to be even more effective over this longer distance. Frau Georgia, Seaton Carew and Irish point recruit Agent Valdez are others who should go well.
