2.10 Like Racing TV On Facebook Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
125 1. BONNE QUESTION Venetia Williams Charlie Deutsch
124 4. WALSINGHAM GRANGE Pam Sly Jordan Nailor (7)
123p 3. THEATRE LEGEND Chris Grant Brian Hughes

Analyst’s Verdict:
Bonne Question ultimately just paid for making his move earlier than ideal in a well-run contest at Sandown last time, and he’s taken to regain the winning thread back under a fully-fledged rider if none the worse for those recent exertions. Threatre Legend is interesting making the quick switch to handicaps, while En Meme Temps also has claims if bouncing back from a poor run.

2.40 Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Novices’ Chase (3) 3m45y

Timeform Top Rated:
156+ 3. TOP VILLE BEN Philip Kirby Sean Quinlan
151p 1. LOUIS’ VAC POUCH Henry Oliver Jeremiah McGrath
136 2. SKIPTHESCALES Philip Kirby Non Runner

Analyst’s Verdict:
Top Ville Ben was a relatively early faller in last week’s RSA Chase, yet this return to calmer waters can only help his cause and Phil Kirby’s charge is fancied to bounce back. Louis’ Vac Pouch has made a sound start to his chasing career for his new yard and is feared, whilst Sam’s Gunner looks sure to do better moving forward.

3.15 racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle (2) 3m26y

Timeform Top Rated:
143 1. MINELLA WARRIOR Kim Bailey David Bass
141 3. DIAMOND FORT Fergal O’Brien Connor Brace (7)
140 2. ISAACSTOWN LAD Nicky Richards Craig Nichol

Analyst’s Verdict:
Minella Warrior improved markedly for the step up to 3m when runner-up on handicap debut at Huntingdon in January and a repeat of that performance may well see him go one better from 3 lb higher. Diamond Fort also posted a big career best in defeat last time and is feared most, with Know The Score best of the rest.

3.50 Peter Harper 60th Birthday Celebration Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (5) 3m26y

Timeform Top Rated:
109 3. THE STING Micky Hammond Billy Garritty (7)
108§ 5. BORDER VICTOR Barry Murtagh Sean Quinlan
107 4. DULCE PANEM Rebecca Menzies Nathan Moscrop (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Charlie Longsdon does well with the runners he sends up here so it might be worth chancing No Trumps to build on her handicap debut fourth at Plumpton 3 weeks ago. Border Victor is going through a good spell and rates a threat, while Leverock Lass was well held last time but an opening mark in the low 100s looks workable based on her previous Ayr win.

4.20 Watch Irish Racing On Racing TV Handicap Chase (4) 2m5f75y

Timeform Top Rated:
134 2. LOUGH SALT Richard Guest Paddy Brennan
132 5. BALLASALLA Donald McCain Brian Hughes
131 4. CAPTAIN MOWBRAY Rebecca Menzies Nathan Moscrop (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Ballasalla arguably would have won with a more organised leap at the last at Doncaster 53 days ago and remains unexposed. Captain Mowbray is capable off this mark and is next best ahead of Lough Salt, who just failed over a longer trip here 4 weeks ago.

4.55 Family Fun Raceday – Sunday 28th April Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
114 4. SHESHOON SONNY Alan King Wayne Hutchinson
106+ 6. ELEANOR BOB Venetia Williams Charlie Deutsch
103 2. DHOWIN Jonjo O’Neill Richie McLernon

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sheshoon Sonny was no match for Get In The Queue at Exeter but he’d be unlucky to bump into anything of that one’s calibre here and is probably the one to beat. Dhowin showed promise amidst greenness on his debut and could be the one to give Alan King’s charge most to do unless the market speaks in the favour of newcomer Almazhar Garde.
