A nice quick follow up to Redrosezorro on the weekend with CAMACHO CHIEF coming home for Paula Muir as a highly gambled on 5/2 favourite for Michael Dods. Hopefully most of you got that early price of 6/1 when we went live at 8.00am……it was also nice to name the 2nd horse home Leo Minor – that paid over £30 on the straight forecast for some of you who nibble on those.

That’s pushed us to OVER £3,500 on our £1k to £10k and with the stakes ever increasing, hopefully we can crack on through £5k….albeit the missus’s Betfair account has just been restricted ?

Just Beverley on today with abridged Timeform below……whilst at Chelmsford our previous winner Indian Pursuit chases a 3 timer on the AW in the 20.15 – he’s just around 3’s and not having won out of C6 is a leaver for us today and we’ll keep those previous winnings in the bank.

Back to Beverley, we have one for members below at a bit of a price….BOL with your bet today!

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….our bank has NOW grown by over 250% with an ROI of over 30%….current stakes are now £43.87 EW

2.10 Beverley Annual Badgeholders Novice Auction Stakes (5) 5f

Timeform Top Rated
83p 5. MELGATE MAGIC Michael Easterby Nathan Evans
82 1. DANCING RAVE David O’Meara David Nolan
80 3. HAADHIR Ivan Furtado Gabriele Malune (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Those with experience don’t set the bar particularly high and it’s perhaps worth taking a chance on Kevin Ryan newcomer Power Rush, although the market will reveal more. Haadhir has been consistent in similar events and is likely to be on the premises again, while Melgate Magic took a step forward at Wolverhampton last time and should have more to offer.

2.45 Pony Racing Here On 30 September ebfstallions.com Novice Stakes (5) 7f96y

Timeform Top Rated
87 2. FOUR MILE BRIDGE Charles Hills Callum Shepherd
86 6. SAMEEM James Tate David Allan
78 9. FANTASTIC MS FOX Richard Fahey Tony Hamilton

Analyst’s Verdict:
Not a strong maiden, so newcomer War Chariot, the first foal of a debut 2-y-o winner, could be up to the job. Four Mile Bridge and Sameem are probably the pick of those with experience.

3.20 Colin McGurran @ Beverley Racecourse Handicap (5) 7f96y

Timeform Top Rated
96 7. ZESHOV Rebecca Bastiman Connor Beasley
95 12. BEVERLEY BULLET Lawrence Mullaney Faye McManoman (7)
93 4. TWIN APPEAL Karen Tutty Gemma Tutty (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Zeshov shaped as if still in good form at Doncaster last time and a 5 lb rise for his comfortable Musselburgh success at the start of the month looks manageable. Archie has had a pretty good spell of late and ought to be competitive again, while Beverley Bullet wasn’t seen to best effect at Pontefract last week and was runner-up over C&D earlier in the campaign.

3.55 Eddie And Violet Smith Conditions Stakes (3) 5f

Timeform Top Rated
123 2. PERFECT PASTURE Michael Easterby Nathan Evans
114 3. SAVALAS Kevin Ryan Tom Eaves
113 4. COPPER KNIGHT Tim Easterby David Allan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Perfect Pasture ran well off top weight in the Ayr Gold Cup on Saturday and may take the beating if this doesn’t come too quickly. This scenario should suit Chelmsford-winner Merhoob and he could go well again.

4.30 Season Finale Handicap (5) (D.I) 1m100y

Timeform Top Rated
90 1. DETACHMENT Les Eyre David Allan
87 2. HITMAN Rebecca Bastiman Connor Beasley
87 4. VIGEE LE BRUN David O’Meara David Nolan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Detachment turned a slightly stronger handicap than this into a one-sided affair at Pontefract on Thursday and is very much the one to beat under a penalty. 3-y-o Archie Perkins chases a hattrick and has landed the inside stall, so is second choice, though Stubytuesday could easily revive having dipped below his last successful mark.

5.00 Season Finale Handicap (5) (D.II) 1m100y

Timeform Top Rated
87 3. STRINGYBARK CREEK David Loughnane Laura Coughlan (7)
85 4. PLACEBO EFFECT Ollie Pears Andrew Mullen
85§ 7. THORNABY NASH Karen Tutty Gemma Tutty (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Stringybark Creek has done well this year when turned out quickly after victories and can follow up Saturday’s Catterick win under a penalty. Roman de Brut could have more to offer back from a break for Ivan Furtado, while the returning Collingham Park may also feature after wind surgery.

5.30 Racing To School Novice Stakes (5) 1m1f207y

Timeform Top Rated
84 3. THAWRY Antony Brittain Cam Hardie
73p 4. ATHARY Charles Hills Paul Hanagan

Analyst’s Verdict:
The hint should be taken if the market speaks in favour of likely-looking newcomer Charles Kingsley. Indeed, he’s been found a very winnable race in which to kick-start his career. Thawry is clearly effective on a slow surface judged on his efforts in France, but he’s hardly progressive and Athary, who showed ability on debut at Windsor, is feared most.

6.00 Brian And Jason Merrington Memorial Amateur Riders’ Handicap (6) 1m1f207y

Timeform Top Rated
84 8. WHATWOULDYOUKNOW Richard Guest Miss Amie Waugh
83 3. WARRIOR’S SPIRIT Alan Brown Mr Tom Midgley (5)
83 7. VENTURA CREST Tim Easterby Miss Emily Easterby

Analyst’s Verdict:
Ventura Crest failed to fire last time and is now 0-15, but he was runner-up over C&D on penultimate start and also hit the crossbar under tresting conditions at Wetherby during the spring. The 3-y-o is worth siding with, though Broughtons Story and recent Carlisle winner Warrior’s Spirit are not passed over lightly and Whatwouldyouknow will also be a threat if handling conditions.
