Hereford and Hexham today with a couple of trackers going in the (16.10) at the latter. Hattons Hill has been a real disappointment this term and looks well handicapped on old form but certainly would prefer more cut. The alternative at a monster 16’s is Maurice Barnes trained Apache Pilot. Another with sketcyh form, he does have an excellent record when running over the 3m at this track. He’s our one to throw a dart with some small shrapnel as we await the impending flat.

Yesterday’s intro notes mention, Lee Side Lady managed a double digit priced 2nd in the Mares race at Wincanton.

Timeform is for the early evening meeting at Wolves.

Geordielad can also hit the frame.

There was much to like about the way in which Havana Rocket dispatched his rivals from the front at Newcastle in January and, with the likelihood of more to come now pitched into a handicap, he is taken to follow up. Jackstar made a good impression when making a winning debut over the minimum trip at Newmarket last spring, leading on bridle over 1f out and keeping on well. The fact he has been absent since is a slight concern but it would come as no surprise to see him ready to roll on return. Soul Searching and Shamkha are feared most, ahead of newcomers Oasis Prince and Bobby Shaft.
