Racing from Wetherby is the sole turf meeting today and there’s a couple out from our tracker notes.

In the (17.25) John Quinn has Ascot Week out (tracker notes 8th April) in this who stayed on really well up Ponty’s hill. We reckon he suffered from an inflated initial mark and has now gradually got down to mid 60’s. He hasn’t won over the mile though that Ponty run gave hope he might just stay the 10f – he backed the Ponty run up with a decent 4th a Newcastle over the new trip on the AW but the wipes your face 5’s is a tad mean for us and we’ll pass over today.
