Apologies for the lack of a notification letter yesterday – we managed to get a small blog post up to say there would be no selections and then we lost the internet completely whilst travelling. Hopefully most of you picked up via that as there was only a few emails asking the question. As ever, if you don’t receive anything by 9.00am just check the ‘Daily Post’ in the blog area – they are published around 8.00am and the email process can take around 40 minutes to cycle as it batch sends out.

Back to racing matters, we backed Ripon winner WOTABREEZE at Epsom LTO for a place and can race off a lower mark with his amateur rider’s allowance taken into account in the (17.00) at Catterick – he’s being racing predominantly in C5 and this represents a drop to where he is more than capable, however he’s likely to be below the threshold price for us at around 7/2. Another of note we backed LTO is HART STOPPER going in the (19.15) at Yarmouth – he surely would have won for us at HQ on that occasion but for missing the break. It’s just a 6 runner and another around 7/2 that we will leave alone in a C2 that is 2 grades above a winning effort

We’re going for an earlier race for our members selection at that course where we also have Timeform below, plus one at Catterick that should be a double digit price.

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge, it’s been 3 months of incremental profits…….our bank has grown by over 90% with an ROI of over 25%….current stakes are now £23.55 EW

5.35 Silk Series Lady Riders’ Handicap (Pro-Am Lady Riders’) (4) 6f3y

Timeform Top Rated:
83 3. OH SO SASSY Chris Wall Jane Elliott (3)
82 1. ATHOLLBLAIR BOY Nigel Tinkler Faye McManoman (7)
82 6. LETMESTOPYOUTHERE Michael Bell Sara Del Fabbro (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Oh So Sassy did really well to last as long as she did when runner-up at Windsor a month ago and a 2 lb rise won’t prevent a very bold bid. Letmestopyouthere is hard to win with but he should be on the premises, with Athollblair Boy another to consider.

6.10 Bazuka / EBF Novice Stakes (4) 7f3y

Timeform Top Rated:
97p 4. PERSIAN MOON Mark Johnston Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst’s Verdict:
An intriguing novice with Prejudice, Astronaut and Motalaqqy interesting newcomers against Persian Moon, who ran to a fairly useful level when second at Sandown recently. The betting may tell a tale, but Luca Cumani’s very well-bred colt is offered at this point.

6.40 4Head Fillies’ Novice Median Auction Stakes (6) 7f3y

Timeform Top Rated:
66 3. ZAHIRAH J. R. Jenkins Gerald Mosse
61 5. HERRINGSWELL Henry Spiller Jim Crowley
55§ 2. ROJINA Lisa Williamson Elisha Whittington (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Those with experience don’t set a very high standard so this can go to a newcomer, with Chippie Hill preferred to Progressive Dawn before market clues.

7.15 Diomed Developments Optional Claiming Handicap (2) 6f3y

Timeform Top Rated:
111 3. EASTERN IMPACT Richard Fahey Andrea Atzeni
110 2. VICTORY ANGEL Roger Varian Silvestre De Sousa
110 6. SARYSHAGANN David O’Meara John Egan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Victory Angel isn’t the most consistent, but he has plenty of ability and is still of interest from this sort of mark, especially now back in calmer waters. Good cases can also be made for Hart Stopper and Eastern Impact.

7.45 Aeropak Handicap (6) 6f3y

Timeform Top Rated:
73 2. DEEDS NOT WORDS Michael Wigham John Egan
72 1. ARCANISTA Chris Dwyer Silvestre De Sousa
71 3. STRICTLY CARTER Alan Bailey Joshua Bryan (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Deeds Not Words is in better heart than his recent form figures suggest and he makes most appeal from an attractive mark. Arcanista and Strictly Carter are a couple of others to consider.

8.20 Freederm Handicap (5) 7f3y

Timeform Top Rated:
81 3. CHETAN Charlie Wallis Joshua Bryan (5)
77 2. MISSISSIPPI MISS Dr Jon Scargill Jane Elliott (3)
75 1. LA ISLA BONITA Richard Spencer Tom Queally

Analyst’s Verdict:
Little separated Chetan and La Isla Bonita over C&D last week, but the former is now much better off at the weights and is taken to reverse the form with a win.

8.50 Ibuleve Handicap (5) 5f42y

Timeform Top Rated:
86 4. SPANISH STAR Patrick Chamings Liam Keniry
84 6. TERRI RULES Julia Feilden Shelley Birkett (3)
83 1. WIFF WAFF Stuart Williams Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst’s Verdict:
Spanish Star had no answers to a well-treated rival at Brighton last week, but he remains capable of winning a race of this nature, so receives the vote. Terri Rules is fairly consistent for a low-grader and is feared most ahead of Revived.
