Safety razors, cut throat razors shaving brushes all things shaving from Executive Shaving

Yesterday’s selection ran one outside the paying slots though it’s early days yet with the form patchy and plenty coming back off extended breaks. Today we move onto Chepstow (incredibly not heavy!) for our members bet today where we’re looking at two of value in the opener.

Timeform is for the meeting at Warwick but as yesterday there’s a disappointing turnout aside from the novices.

There has been a bit of confusion over staking – as ever we go 1.25% EW of bank and have some members who just like to join us for the NH and vice- versa. Yesterdays staking was aimed at newcomers, though we have those who have continued over from the flat, staking at that elevated rate whilst they can get stakes on.

Obviously the decision is yours but anyone wanting to suggest how we monitor the results, please feel free to email us or comment in the forum at the bottom. To date we have always posted afresh at the start of each seasonal code change for the ease of any new members.

For those on the new £1k to £10k, current stakes are now £11.88 EW and the bank stands at £950.64

12.30 Sodick ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2m
Timeform Rating of previous winners: 144 156 161 131 141 (Avg 147)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Alan King usually unleashes a useful novice in this, and Harambe could be another one in the hope he’s none the worse for an unfortunate experience on recent hurdles debut. My Mate Mark made a very encouraging return to the track at Bangor and is feared, while Laughing Luis will surely cast aside a tame effort at Fakenham.

Timeform Top Rated:
135p 9. MY MATE MARK Ben Pauling Daryl Jacob
123 4. GENERATION GAP Jonjo O’Neill Jonjo O’Neill Jr. (5)
119+ 8. LAUGHING LUIS Nicky Henderson James Bowen

1.00 Fourpenny Plate Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Chase (Qualifier) (4) 2½m

Analyst’s Verdict:
A case can be made for all six, but Pulling Power gets the vote after her all-the-way win at Uttoxeter. She’s up 5 lb but can do even better over fences. The hat-trick-seeking Marienstar is next on the shortlist ahead of Drops of Jupitor.

Timeform Top Rated:
133+ 1. MARIENSTAR Neil King Mr Jack Andrews (7)
128p 4. PULLING POWER Jeremy Scott Matt Griffiths
127 2. BLACK TULIP Henry Daly Andrew Tinkler

1.30 Thoroughbred Breeders Association Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2m5f
Timeform Rating of previous winners: 141 130 136 140 142 (Avg 138)

Analyst’s Verdict:
She Mite Bite, a point winner back in the spring, makes plenty of appeal starting out for a leading yard and could be the way to go without the benefit of market clues. Biddy The Boss has the benefit of plenty of experience and will attempt to make that count, whilst Millarville is another interesting recruit from the pointing field.

133 1. BIDDY THE BOSS Gavin Patrick Cromwell James Bowen
125 6. MAEBH Seamus Mullins Kevin Jones (5)

2.05 Highflyer Bloodstock Novices’ Chase (3) 2m54y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Pacific de Baune and Djingle are quite closely matched on hurdling form but the first-named has less to prove having run well when last seen 7 months ago, so he takes preference in what should turn out to be a match.

2.35 Sodick Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m3f

Analyst’s Verdict:
Malachite is likely to be all the better for his Cheltenham return and should have more to offer this season after just 3 hurdle starts. Last-time-out scorers Erick Le Rouge and Outcrop remain exposed and are feared most.

Timeform Top Rated:
126 4. ERICK LE ROUGE Mrs Jane Williams Chester Williams (3)
125 1. MALACHITE Nicky Henderson Ned Curtis (3)
123 6. OUTCROP Jennie Candlish Lorcan Murtagh

3.10 Smarkets Carlow Veterans’ Handicap Chase (Leg 9) (2)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Exitas had plenty in hand when seeing off Beat That at Aintree last month so is taken to defy a 10 lb rise, though market support for the well-treated Le Reve on belated return would look significant.

Timeform Top Rated:
155 1. EXITAS Phil Middleton Lorcan Williams (5)
154 2. BEAT THAT Nicky Henderson James Bowen

3.45 Smarkets David Nicholson Memorial Fillies’ “Junior” Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 1¾m
Timeform Rating of previous winners: 115 113 105 116 110 (Avg 112)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Eyes Right makes plenty of appeal starting out for a red-hot yard who have won this race in the past. Felicidad is the biggest danger ahead of Lunar Baby.

Timeform Top Rated:
110+ 6. FELICIDAD Nick Williams Chester Williams (7)
95 2. BERGAMOT Dan Skelton Harry Skelton
94 4. ESPECIALLY SO Steve Gollings Jamie Moore
