Slightly disappointing yesterday as we hit the bar again with our selection Billy Roberts finishing runner up at 16’s to our previous winner Give It Some Teddy.…we’d waited BR to get down to this sort of mark and as a back end of season performer hoped we could land a double digit priced winner. We’ll see where he goes next but it’s unlikely we’ll have another double digit opportunity off this mark. Hopefully we have a few more up our sleeves of a similar ilk and we can push on further than the place money is giving us at the moment……well done a few of you who reported in going with a forecast following our notes 🙂

Today there’s Catterick, Mussleburgh and a partial turf meet at Lingfield with Timeform for the meeting north of the border where Royal Brave in the (15.10) is our only noted and looks ripe for the lumpers?

We’ve two today at a price from Catterick for members below…….

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….our bank has NOW grown by over 150% to over £2.5k with an ROI of over 25%….current stakes are now £29.61EW.

2.10 188Bet Mobile Bet10 Get20 British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes (5) 7f33y

Timeform Top Rated
93 3. CABALLERO Keith Dalgleish Callum Rodriguez (3)
87p 2. BURIRAM Ralph Beckett Daniel Tudhope
75p 8. THIERRY Richard Fahey Paul Hanagan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Caballero is getting closer with each run and can make it fifth-time lucky with this return to 7f sure to suit. Derby-entry Buriram looks open to improvement on the back of his Newmarket debut. The market support for Gainsborough Hat first-time up at Glorious Goodwood was interesting and he could be capable of a lot better if all is well.

2.40 188Bet Extra Place Races Handicap (6) 1½m104y

Timeform Top Rated
78 4. TRAUTMANN Rebecca Menzies Paul Hanagan
77 2. MAC O’POLO Tom Dascombe Richard Kingscote
76 1. FLOWER POWER Tony Coyle Dougie Costello

Analyst’s Verdict:
Trautmann took a while to get off the mark, but he’s firmly on the up now and seems sure to go well again in pursuit of the hat-trick. Flower Power is feared most ahead of Mac O’Polo.

3.10 Mansfield Care Handicap (4) 5f1y

Timeform Top Rated
98 2. ROYAL BRAVE Rebecca Bastiman Daniel Tudhope
97 5. MACHREE Declan Carroll Ger O’Neill (5)
96 1. LONGROOM Noel Wilson Phil Dennis (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Royal Brave rarely runs a bad race and is taken to regain the winning thread dropping back to the minimum trip. Machree is edging down the weights so isn’t one to dismiss, while last year’s winner Kinloch Pride is also considered.

3.40 EBF Stallions Winners Fillies’ Handicap (3) 7f33y

Timeform Top Rated
103 1. RICHENZA Ralph Beckett Richard Kingscote
102 2. WHATSTHEMESSAGE Keith Dalgleish Graham Lee
101 4. REBEL ASSAULT Mark Johnston Joe Fanning

Analyst’s Verdict:
Richenza got back on track when chasing home a thriving filly at Chelmsford in June and has a big chance now taking on older rivals after a break. Crotchet got off the mark for the season here 3 weeks ago and has to be respected again up 3 lb.

4.10 Ediston Handicap (6) 1m208y

Timeform Top Rated
83 6. MILITARY MADAME John Quinn Callum Rodriguez (3)
82 2. CASCELLA David O’Meara C. J. McGovern (5)
82 4. VALKENBURG Keith Dalgleish Rowan Scott (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Military Madame’s latest run is easily excused, bumped 3f out and unable to recover, so she’s well worth another chance judged on the form of her win here last month. Cascella and Valkenburg are a couple of others to consider.

4.40 Best Odds Guaranteed At 188Bet Stayers Handicap (6) 1m7f217y

Timeform Top Rated
78 3. SOMETHING BREWING Iain Jardine Andrew Mullen
76 1. BODACIOUS NAME John Quinn Callum Rodriguez (3)
76 6. ST ANDREWS Gillian Boanas Oliver Stammers (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Something Brewing ran well in defeat at Newcastle last month having not been ideally placed, and he remains one to be interested in. Bodacious Name and Fontainbleau head up the opposition.

5.10 Read Silvestre de Sousa At 188Bet Handicap (6) 5f1y

Timeform Top Rated
81 7. YOUR JUST DESSERTS Richard Whitaker Joe Fanning
79 3. LIFE FOR RENT Tim Easterby Rachel Richardson
78 1. MISS DD Iain Jardine Andrew Mullen

Analyst’s Verdict:
Your Just Desserts is clearly getting the hang of things now and looks capable of defying this sort of mark. Miss Dd can be relied upon to give her running, while Burmese Blazer shaped better than the result last time so cannot be ruled out.
