Salisbury and Nottingham today with Timeform for the former – yesterday’s intro notes saw a win for REDARNA after being a little hard on JPS….and like buses he promptly bombed home on Explain in the race following!

Last weeks selection Casterbridge is back out at Nottingham (15.35) – with a rail draw we will be leaving him alone as a members selection to the relief of some of you 🙂 If Harty slams him home up the inside we will be coming looking for you!! – seriously we have another in that one as our first members bet.

At Salisbury (16.55), Stuart Williams’ HART STOPPER is one for you lumping types at around 5/2 who has really come on as a 4 yo – we backed him last term and he’s upped his game now running and winning C2’s.

We’ve another of interest from that track so it’s two from us for members below…..there’s no turf on Thursday so we will be back FRIDAY at 8.00am

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….our bank has NOW grown by over 250% with an ROI of over 25%….current stakes are now £39.76 EW

1.40 PKF Francis Clark EBF Novice Stakes (4) (D.I) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
94p 2. DAWN TREADER Richard Hannon Tom Marquand
90 9. MURRAY RIVER John Gosden Kieran O’Neill
89p 11. WISE RULER Simon Crisford Andrea Atzeni

Analyst’s Verdict:
An interesting opener. Dawn Treader sets a reasonable standard on his last month’s Sandown second and is the percentage call with further progress likely but strong market support for well-bred newcomers such as King Ademar and/or Ginistrelli would put a slightly different slant on things. Wise Ruler and Purdey’s Gift are both likely to build on encouraging debuts and also merit respect.

2.10 PKF Francis Clark EBF Novice Stakes (4) (D.II) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
92p 13. WAVE WALKER Sylvester Kirk Rossa Ryan (3)
88p 14. GAMBA Richard Hannon Tom Marquand
67 11. NED MACKAY Roger Charlton Kieran Shoemark

Analyst’s Verdict:
Those with experience don’t set the bar that high so it’s perhaps worth taking a chance on the Roger Varian newcomer Military Move, with confidence increased should the market vibes be strong. Stormwave is another likely sort on paper, while Gamba and Wave Walker have both shown promise and are open to improvement.

2.45 Radcliffe & Co EBF Novice Stakes (4) (D.I) 6f213y

Timeform Top Rated:
99p 5. HAWRIDGE STORM Rod Millman John Egan
87 12. KNIGHTSHAYES Paul George Rhiain Ingram (5)
85p 8. MONSIEUR NOIR Roger Varian Andrea Atzeni

Analyst’s Verdict:
The well-bred Copal is chanced on debut before market clues, hailing from a bang-in-form yard. Hawridge Storm improved when fourth at Ffos Las in a race that has thrown up plenty of winners. He looks a big player, as do Frederickbarbarosa and newcomer Senza Limiti.

3.15 Radcliffe & Co EBF Novice Stakes (4) (D.II) 6f213y

Timeform Top Rated:
87p 13. CLARA PEETERS Gary Moore Jason Watson (3)
76 3. DENIS THE DIVA Marcus Tregoning Kieran Shoemark
62p 6. GEORGE JUNIOR Richard Hannon Tom Marquand

Analyst’s Verdict:
Clara Peeters shaped really well on her debut over 6f here last month, getting the hang of things as the race wore on. She seems sure to progress over this longer trip and can open her account. Time Immemorial, Jahbath and Aweedram head up a host of interesting newcomers.

3.50 Myddelton & Major Conditions Stakes (2) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
108? 6. CHYNNA Mick Channon Andrea Atzeni
104 3. NAUGHTY RASCAL Richard Hannon Tom Marquand
102 4. TIN HAT Eve Johnson Houghton Charles Bishop

Analyst’s Verdict:
Naughty Rascal is the one in the field who remains with potential having taken a big step forward from his winning debut when second at Kempton. If he takes to turf he can strike again. The filly Chynna has a great chance at the weights if in the sort of form that has seen her finish placed in a couple of Group 3s. Ascot-winner Cloak and Dagger also has a fair shout.

4.20 Booker Ltd Handicap (4) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
105 6. BLACKHEATH Ed Walker Liam Keniry
103 5. BEYOND EQUAL Stuart Kittow Fran Berry
102 7. SWEET PURSUIT Rod Millman Finley Marsh (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Beyond Equal has some strong form to his name and resumed winning ways at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago from Smokey Lane, his rider giving him the kid-glove treatment late on. He likely has more to offer and can go in again. Blackheath can make his presence felt back at the scene of his last win, while Smokey Lane won the preceding 2-y-o race on this card in 2016 and is handicapped to strike.

4.55 Weatherbys General Stud Book Handicap (2) 6f

Timeform Top Rated:
114 5. HART STOPPER Stuart Williams Jamie Spencer
113 7. LOUIE DE PALMA Clive Cox James Doyle
111 2. ROGUE Richard Hannon Thore Hammer Hansen (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Summerghand found the Ayr Gold Cup too much to handle last time but has had an excellent campaign overall and might be up to notching another win back in slightly calmer waters. Charles Molson is at his very best on AW but his turf mark reflects that and he could provide the main threat ahead of Bungee Jump, who has stood up to a busy campaign very well.

5.25 Quantuma ‘Season Finale’ Handicap (4) 5f

Timeform Top Rated:
102 1. WASEEM FARIS Ken Cunningham-Brown Finley Marsh (5)
102 9. MADAME BOUNTY Ed Walker Liam Keniry
101 3. RIO RONALDO Mike Murphy Andrea Atzeni

Analyst’s Verdict:
Waseem Faris was successful on his last 2 starts at Class 4 level and it might be worth taking a chance on him bouncing back to his best in these slightly calmer waters. Three Little Birds, Madame Bounty and Kodiac Express are reliable sorts who are likely to have a say again, while Blaine is well treated if he can build on a better effort last time.
