Back at the coal face today with just a couple of meets though a members selections out at Hamilton this afternoon – Timeform is from the early evening Wetherby where one who caught the eye LTO goes in the 19.10. Music Seeker ran a decent race form  poor draw at Thirsk LTO – without a win for Declan Carroll since moving from James Eustace at the start of the season, it’s difficult to see him reversing previous form with Scottish Summit at Nottingham 2 races back – may be worth keeping an eye on when dropped back to 8 from this 10f trip.

A competitive handicap, and a chance is taken on Ice Slice, who should be sharper for his reappearance and has slipped to an attractive mark. Mango Chutney has returned an improved model this season so has to be respected, with Fingal’s Cave and Parys Mountain others not to be written off.

Rainbow Rising and Question of Faith are perhaps the pick of the remainder in an open contest.
