Back at the coal face today with just a couple of meets though a members selections out at Hamilton this afternoon – Timeform is from the early evening Wetherby where one who caught the eye LTO goes in the 19.10. Music Seeker ran a decent race form poor draw at Thirsk LTO – without a win for Declan Carroll since moving from James Eustace at the start of the season, it’s difficult to see him reversing previous form with Scottish Summit at Nottingham 2 races back – may be worth keeping an eye on when dropped back to 8 from this 10f trip.

6.10 British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Median Auction Stakes (5) 5f110y
Timeform Top Rated:
80 1. COCOCABALA Richard Spencer Tom Queally
64 3. LADS ORDER Tony Coyle Dougie Costello
Analyst’s Verdict:
This doesn’t look a deep race, and Pink Flamingo can provide her stable with yet another first-time-out 2-y-o winner. Double Quick is another likely type on paper, with standard setter Cococabala next on the list.
6.40 Party In The Paddock On 22nd June Novice Median Auction Stakes (6) 1m
Timeform Top Rated:
80p 10. MORTICIA Keith Dalgleish Connor Beasley
79p 5. CLIMB ABOARD Hughie Morrison P. J. McDonald
77 3. HASANOANDA John Gosden Robert Havlin
Analyst’s Verdict:
Jahaafel, despite obvious signs of greenness, showed plenty of ability by the finish when fourth at Chelmsford in November and, with significant improvement expected, he is fancied to go close. Climb Aboard, Morticia and Hasanoanda are others with claims.
7.10 AMT Vehicle Rental Leeds Handicap (5) 1¼m
Timeform Top Rated:
93 3. DOCTOR CROSS Richard Fahey Paul Hanagan
92 10. FISHER GREEN Roger Fell Tony Hamilton
92 12. METRONOMIC Peter Niven Andrew Mullen
Analyst’s Verdict:
Doctor Cross has returned in good heart this season, and is taken to open his account dropping in class. Scottish Summit and Long Socks look his most interesting rivals.
7.40 Napoleons Casino Leeds Handicap (4) 1m
Timeform Top Rated:
100 13. PARYS MOUNTAIN Tim Easterby Rachel Richardson (3)
99 1. ICE SLICE James Eustace Sebastian Woods (5)
99 6. FINGAL’S CAVE Philip Kirby Callum Rodriguez (3)
Analyst’s Verdict:
A competitive handicap, and a chance is taken on Ice Slice, who should be sharper for his reappearance and has slipped to an attractive mark. Mango Chutney has returned an improved model this season so has to be respected, with Fingal’s Cave and Parys Mountain others not to be written off.
8.10 Watch Racing UK In Stunning HD Fillies’ Handicap (4) 1¾m
Timeform Top Rated:
93 1. TARTE TROPEZIENNE William Haggas Daniel Tudhope
91 3. LADY PERSEPHONE Alan King William Carson
90 6. QUESTION OF FAITH Martin Todhunter Paul Hanagan
Analyst’s Verdict:
Tarte Tropezienne‘s weak finish at Salisbury was excusable given the ground she had to make up after a poor start, and her smart pedigree and top yard are ongoing recommendations so she’s well worth another chance. Rainbow Rising and Question of Faith are perhaps the pick of the remainder in an open contest.
8.40 Hope & Social Playing Here Live Handicap (6) 2m
Timeform Top Rated:
77 1. THE RESDEV WAY Philip Kirby Graham Lee
76 6. SLIPPER SATIN Simon West Rossa Ryan (5)
75 2. ICE GALLEY Philip Kirby Kevin Stott
Analyst’s Verdict:
The Resdev Way had no chance with a revived performer at Catterick 3 weeks ago, but he was nicely clear of the rest and a repeat of that effort may well suffice. Slipper Satin will doubtless give it another good go from the front, with Urban Spirit another to consider.
9.10 Watch Racing UK Anywhere Handicap (6) 1m
Timeform Top Rated:
78 2. STRAIGHT ASH Richard Hannon Rossa Ryan (5)
76p 8. ALIENTO Ollie Pears Andrew Mullen
72 1. FOXRUSH TAKE TIME Richard Guest Daniel Tudhope
Analyst’s Verdict:
Straight Ash was probably flattered to finish as close as he did in claiming company a week ago, but even so he figures on a very tempting mark back in a handicap. Aliento has a bigger performance in her and she is feared, along with Racehorse.
