Fox Hill wins….advised @ 7/1

A  second nice priced early season winner for us with the days sole selection, Eric Alston’s FOX HILL. She ran out a comfortable winner under Harrison Shaw, and anyone taking any note of the link we placed on the page for the for the highlighted Eric Alston/Kevin Ryan angle, may have had Ryan’s 3yo Moonlighting in the (13.30).

We don’t back 3yo’s at this time of year, so not one we had any money on, but nonetheless, cemented another case for the angle ?

For those on the £1k to £10k seasonal challenge its currently a 50% win/place rate and our bank is £1156.54 with and ROI of 79% with current stakes £14.46 EW

Today’s Selections

Thirsk 16.50

We did some early season trainer profiles back in March and a stable we have always followed early doors is our local handler, Eric Alston.

FOX HILL was put in our tracker last term back in July who he brought over from Ireland and the type he does well with. She won twice at Redcar & Catterick through the summer and LTO on the turf finished a very respectable third in a competitive race at Hamilton.

Having had a sharpener on the AW at Newcastle we’d expect her to be ready for this.

One danger we will be noting is Tim Easterby’s Gullane One who does show a good attitude when racing off the front.  He battled back well twice last term after being headed but the stable haven’t hit top form yet.

We’ll stick with the Alston charge and the best 7/1 on offer with bet365 this morning and regulation 3 slots.
