The big race of the day in terms of handicaps is clearly the Ascot 17.00 Royal Hunt Cup - many of our lower grade C3 types progress for a tilt at this and we've obviously a few we have tracked going in this one. From yesterday's racing it looks as though 'drawn low' looks the place to be.

One of our biggest disappointments this term has been the showing of Kupa River who the stable were extremely hopeful of picking up a decent sprint with this term - we backed him on tree of his four runs where he has flattered to deceive and his best performance has come when stepped up to a mile and 2nd to Acclimatise off level weights

The favourite's lost out in yesterday's feature with the Nottinghamshire Oaks going to Charlie Fellow's Mia Tesoro.....Saturday skipping Titi Mafki came home 2nd whilst Willie Haggas's Maid To Remember was sent of favourite and a disappointing 4th, with our tracker horse Company Asset in 5th.
