Examiner amazingly landed as a 20/1 winner form yesterday's commentary, did't really expect that sort of price for one coming from the better side of the course. The first 4 home were all drawn high and obviously a consideration for the rest of the meet if the stalls remain the same. The form of Gosden panned out and the Tom Dascombe angle also threw up a winner.  Read more →

Nothing to report on from yesterday, albeit our views on the Windsor 17.35 panned out with Bakht A Rawan doing Harlequin Striker quite comfortably in the end - we had a few emails that some of you went with that for an early nibble so well done anyone pulling in a nice profit from that one. The official start to our flat campaign and we awake to Redcar abandoned and an inspection at Windsor so it's looking likely to be a tad quiet on the selections front for the next couple of weeks - please bear with us on that....like we always say, it's a marathon and not a sprint....... Final day of our 'official' NH campaign and it would be nice to sign off with a winner in the 'pin the tail on the donkey' race and get that bank past 100% growth. Our two selections this week haven't managed to place and we will put up two in the race for 0.625% EW bets to end the season.Read more →

There's nothing of note at Sedgefield so our main focus today is the Alder Hey (1.45) and the Topham Chase (16.05) for an EW interest bet in the 'pin the tail on the donkey' meeting. A quiet week so far changes with the first day of the Aintree meeting - perhaps not the best day to get heavily involved and we're just going for one we backed LTO to make his presence felt in the 16.40 at decent double-digit odds.Read more →

Just Market Rasen today and not a whole load of interest.....the (16.40) is just a 7 runner that Shocking Times looks a solid favourite coming in on the back of a win and having won off this mark before. Cyclop offers some value as a course winner, dropped to a C4 and a claimer up to boot.Read more →

Love's Destination gave us no return yesterday, folding tamely 4 out and perhaps we made a false assumption that he would stay the 3 miles? Moving swiftly on:).....there's not a whole lot of runners out this afternoon. The only chase with a significant field is the Hexham (16.25) C5 chase but there's not a lot of quality about that and it's an easy day to pass over and keep the money in the bank.Read more →
