It's the Irish 2000 Guineas from the Curragh today with the speedmeisters views below on that meet - we're looking at the lesser meets to 'eek' out some value returns.......tongue in cheek that...Temple Stakes at Haydock.....Tapster at Goodwood and the Al Basti Bronte Cup at York are all C1 races on what promises to be a cracking BH weekend of racing.......we may even venture up to Cartmel on Monday if the weather holds :)

Another nice winner as REMEMBER THE DAYS does it for the members with an easy success at Ayr for Jedd O'Keeffe yesterday. We managed 11/2 in the morning but he was backed into 3/1 on the back of 3 late non-runners. There's more improvement to come from him but we'll have to see on prices for future outings.

With no selections yesterday it's again more pretty naff action from Ayr and Yarmouth today in terms of races we target :( but that's with no detriment to the C1 Listed £28k Rothesay Stakes (16.35). We also mentioned yesterday, Saturday winner Tanosoq is back out quickly and up against recent Chester 2nd, Powerallied - neither will offer us any value heading the market in a 5 runner (16.35).

Anyone backing Kupa River managed a bit of place money with the 14/1 about him - like we said in our notes yesterday, they really think this one will pick up a decent sprint this season, though this race was at just shy of a mile. At Newbury we were keeping more of on eye on Mark Johnston's Poet's Prince and he notched a nice 1-2 in the 15.00 Al Zubarah London Gold Cup Handicap - with Communique winning going away under De Sousa.
