Well the early 7/1 price about Society Red evaporated yesterday as we were posting and just managed to get 6's for a modicum of profit with most of you getting wipe yer face prices. Pontefract & Windsor today with Timeform for the latter below. Ponty is a track we know well where every inch of the distance needs getting with the stiff uphill finish to the line. Despite that, front runners tend to go well, especially from inside low draws up to a mile.

Examiner amazingly landed as a 20/1 winner form yesterday's commentary, did't really expect that sort of price for one coming from the better side of the course. The first 4 home were all drawn high and obviously a consideration for the rest of the meet if the stalls remain the same. The form of Gosden panned out and the Tom Dascombe angle also threw up a winner.
