A sole meet at Nottingham today with three big field handicaps to get involved with - firstly an apology, we have had some 'email sending' issues that has left a few of you receiving Monday's selections yesterday! Please note, the notification email that you receive is only a link to the daily post and this is live anyway from 8 on a weekday and 10.00am on a Saturday so you don't have to rely on an email prompt. Brighton, Leicester and Catterick today with a host of runners who we have backed previously going at the latter. At Brighton EJ-H has Hedging out in the 16.00 under Charles Bishop - top weights don't see too inconvenienced here and he threw in an improved run LTO. He's just better that wipes yer face 6/1 this morning and both he and Buzz Lightyere, on 2nd run for John Gallagher, at the top of the weights should be involved at the finish.Read more →
It would be nice to get a couple of quick winners in the next 10 selections or so to get this bank through the £4k and net a decent pot before the flat peters out. Today there's meets from Pontefract and Windsor to kick off the week with Timeform for the former below. Firstly it was nice to see a trainer we follow, Michael Dods, 'having his day in France' yesterday....Mabs Cross got up late....or a perfectly timed run? to win the Prix de l’Abbaye at LongchampRead more →
Again just a sole turf meeting at Ascot with no real handicaps to get stuck into. Possibly George offers some EW value in the (14.25) with Jason Watson up top and being well proven at this trip and went off to quickly at the head of affairs over an inadequate 7f on the AW at Chelmsford LTO.Read more →
A quiet week from a C3, 4 & 5 aspect and finally we get a chance to look at something with a sole race at Ascot and a couple up at Redcar. There's supporting views form the speedmeisters below for the Ascot meet. We're having a rare dip into C2 and have a couple out at Redcar for this afternoon for members below.Read more →

No turf today so there's just Timeform from Lingfield for those punting AW....it's also looking like Saturday may be our next bet at Redcar........Friday's Ascot card has a sole C3 stakes race that doesn't look worth getting involved in with a whole host of improving 3yo's going to post.Read more →
Salisbury and Nottingham today with Timeform for the former - yesterday's intro notes saw a win for REDARNA after being a little hard on JPS....and like buses he promptly bombed home on Explain in the race following! Last weeks selection Casterbridge is back out at Nottingham (15.35) - with a rail draw we will be leaving him alone as a members selection to the relief of some of you :) If Harty slams him home up the inside we will be coming looking for you!! - seriously we have another in that one as our first members bet.Read more →
A sole meeting from Ayr on Tuesday with Timeform for that below....nevertheless there's few competitive handicaps with some decent prices to be considered. In the (16.20) Explain finished like a train to finish 2nd at Ponty LTO when we backed Sheepscar Lad - however he's up against in-form Keith Dalgleish's St Equiano who landed a monster 784/1 double yesterday with both rides under Connor Beasley. Iain Jardine's Mabel Lee was closing down the winner all the way to the line at Musselburgh and would have won with another 100yds run whilst Dourado eeked out that 4th paying place at Epsom giving us a modicum of profit from yesterday's two selections. That finishes off September and our 6th consecutive month of profit for the flat season with the bank having shifted £730+ northwards through the month with those 4 winners and 15 places!!! A couple more of those converting would have been a lot more welcome but we'll live with that and move on into the last couple of months racing. Read more →
